Anne Britt Watson Miller was born on November 22, 1949 and passed away on April 13, 2022. She spent her early years in East and Middle Tennessee before moving to Memphis where she attended East Grammar and Jr High Schools. She graduated from the Lausanne School in 1967. Anne then matriculated at Mount Vernon Junior College in Washington D.C. At Mount Vernon she was the assistant editor of the yearbook and honored for her academic achievements at her graduation ceremony in 1969. Anne married Robert F. “Bob” Miller on September 6, 1969. They had three children, Katherine Britt, Kutcher Braun, and Colin Fields. Anne was a devoted mother who passionately loved her children. She also found time to be a professional model in Memphis and, occasionally, on the runways of New York. She was a member of the Junior League and the Maternal Welfare League. Anne was predeceased by her daughter Britt, her mother Anne Fowlkes Threefoot, her stepfather Kutcher Threefoot, her sister Julia Threefoot Craig and her father Richard Watson. She is survived by Bob, Kutcher (Tanya), Colin (Jenny), and her beloved granddaughters Watson, Greyson, and Charlotte, as well as her Miller siblings, Fowlkes cousins and many nephews and nieces. There will be a private, family disposition and no memorial service is presently planned. The family requests that memorials be made to MOST “Memphis Opportunity Scholarship Trust” or the charity of the donor’s choice.
