Jane Giannini Mayer Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jane Giannini Mayer, 63, answered her call to God after her battle with ALS on July 24th, 2022, surrounded by family. Born on August 4th, 1958 in Memphis, Jane graduated from Bishop Byrne in 1976 and attended the University of Memphis. After her successful career at Morgan Keegan, Jane spent her time and talents giving back to the community. For years Jane volunteered at three charities she passionately supported including MIFA Meals on Wheels, Mother Cabrini, and Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore. Living by a credo of faith, family, and friends, Jane had an abundance of love to give to all. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo Louis Giannini and Gloria Crosby Giannini. She is survived by her husband Ward Mayer, her two daughters April Moore (Michael) and Nina Garguilo (James), and her grandson Anthony Garguilo, who has inherited her energetic and loving spirit. She is also survived by her brother, Peter Giannini (Mary Anne), and her two sisters, Ann Giannini and Joyce Carimi. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, July 29th, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Germantown with a visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. The family requests memorials be sent to the ALS Association-West Tennessee Chapter and MIFA Meals on Wheels.
