Judith Ann M. Racine

November 18, 1942 - January 14, 2022

Judith Ann Racine went peacefully home to the Lord on January 14, 2022, at the age of 79 surrounded by her loved ones. Judy was an only child born in Marquette, Michigan on November 18, 1942, to Conrad and Marie Murk. She received her bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University. She taught elementary school and later started a real estate career with the Village Bells. She married the love of her life, Bob Racine, who she met in kindergarten. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bob, her daughter, Jenifer McBride (Steve), her son, Bob, as well as her grandchildren, John, Katie, Ben and Will McBride, her sisters in law Georgia Carlson and Retha LaChance, and her cousins Margaret O’Neill (Buck) and Peter Murk (Dottie), and several nieces and nephews. Judy and Bob raised their children in Grand Rapids, Michigan then moved to Naples, Florida during their retirement. Three years ago, Mimi Judy and Papa Bob (as they are known by their grandchildren) moved to Memphis to be close to their grandchildren. Judy loved to read, play golf, and spend time with her family and friends. She especially loved to attend any school or sporting event of her grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 19th at 10:30 am at the chapel at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Germantown, Tennessee. An additional Memorial Service will be held in Grand Rapids, Michigan this summer. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Judy’s name to St. Jude Children Research Hospital or Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Germantown, Tennessee.
