Vickie Funderburk Grannan Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Vickie Funderburk Grannan, age 64, died July 16, 2022, in the comfort of her own home surrounded by family. Vickie was a graduate of the 1975 class of Frayser Highschool and attended Memphis State. She was a dedicated employee of the Memphis Public Library, Frayser Branch for 19 years and retired from Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare after 21 years of service. Vickie is survived by Tim Grannan, her loving husband of 46 years. She was a deeply caring mother of her two children TJ(Christa) and Leigh(Brandon) and her six grandchildren: Mackenzie, Olivia, Lyla, Nora Jane, Nolan, and Jane Grace. Vickie was preceded in death by her mother Jerri Blakley. She is survived by her paternal father, Clem Funderburk, and father, Don Blakley. Vickie is also survived by her siblings, Cindy Galloway, Darla Brady, and Bobby Blakley. Vickie was a lifelong communicant of Our Lady Sorrows Church. She was an active member within the church and school community. She served with the alter guild, contributed to various sports organizations and was responsible for modernizing the school’s library. Visitation will be 12 noon Friday, July 22nd at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 3700 Thomas St (Hwy 51) with Funeral Mass to follow at 1:00 pm. Vickie was an incredibly selfless wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by the many who were touched by her kindness.
